EkoRent’s electric cars are taking over the streets in Finland
The electric cars rented by the Finnish company can be booked directly via the EkoRent app, picked up at the nearest location, and returned without a prior notice. The cars can be charged for free at any electric car charging station.
EkoRent has made the usage of electric cars an effortless, low-treshold option, and now it’s even simpler because parking can be found and paid for directly through the ParkMan app.
What’s more, parking with an electric car can be significantly cheaper. The Finnish capital Helsinki, for example, encourages the usage of low emission vehicles by offering a 50 % discount for parking.
Smart car-sharing in Denmark with Green Mobility
The electric car rental provides a log in – log out service where one can easily pick up a car, use it and then afterwards release it for others to use. Green Mobility has integrated ParkMan’s software into their solution for a superior customer experience.
Parking is automatically started in the ParkMan app based on vehicle location whenever a car is turned off, and ended when the engine is on again. This enables users to park without having to spend time on the payment process – a fully automated parking experience for all parkings made with Green Mobility cars.

With up to 30 % of cars in a city at any given time in a city looking for parking, carbon dioxide emissions can be significantly reduced with communicating real-time available parking.
